agutterfan A great song. Guitar & drum propel a strong melody with a 'splashing' water effect on guitar, then Lisa's joined by horns. Silky texture, the ending reminded me of the great Pernice Brothers. Check out the video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFhc9m2Xda8

Ralphe.co.nz 'You Got Me' with this interesting number Miss Crawley. It's a song written with kiwiana honesty and simplicity along the lines of NZ songstress Big Runga. Love the guitar tones and Reverb Roland Echo strum that decorate the background. It's all about the golden chorus and lyrics with this song, a love song which reminds us that love and the simple life is all you need to get you through. Review by Ralphe.co.nz.

lyrics

If only understand your world
If only I could hear what you have to say
The closer I get to knowing you
The harder you pull, the harder you pull away

And where do I go?
Do I run?
Do I hide?
How do I know the difference between the truth and a lie?

You’ve got me where you want me
But you don’t want what you’ve got
You’ve got me where you want me
But it seems it's not enough
You’ve got me where you want me

I’ve been following you around
I know that it’s time for me to sit down
I know you’ve been walking all over me
But if you stopped I’d miss the touch of your body

And where do I go?
Do I run?
Do I hide?
How do I know the difference between the truth and a lie?

You’ve got me where you want me
But you don’t want what you’ve got
You’ve got me where you want me
But it seems its not enough
You’ve got me where you want me

I give myself away to try and get through
I’m losing myself just so I can have you

You’ve got me where you want me
But you don’t want what you’ve got
You’ve got me where you want me
But it seems it's not enough
You’ve got me where you want me
